Now that we are back into our normal warmer Vancouver winter weather, we have been getting guests out a little more frequently for a great day on the water. Our trips have seen us fishing in Howe Sound, Vancouver Harbour and across the Georgia Strait in the Gulf Islands.
We are getting multiple hook ups on each charter with a good mix of legal and undersize Winter Chinook Salmon. We have been marking incredible amounts of bait on trips which these chinook salmon are feeding on. Find the bait and the fish are close by. We have been covering lots of area while fishing with our gear right on the bottom in depths from 80 to 220 feet of water. For tackle we always have something with glow on it whether it be a flasher, spoon, teaser head or hootchie. We have been getting our bites with various colour of Gibbs Dellta flashers with the Bonchovy, Trailhead G-Force spoons and Irish Cream Skinny G spoon resulting in some great fishing.
Crabbing has also been picking up in the local area and guests are also getting to enjoy these tasty treats.
Now is a great time to get out on the water as we are currently we are running our Winter Special for our 8 Hour Charters:
1 - 2 people: $650.00 3 - 4 people: $700.00
Prices do not include GST, Fishing License or Guide Gratuity.
